On this page, you’ll find all you need to contact your elected officials regarding Tara’s case and our efforts to bring about real change in her honor!
Step 1: Who is your Legislator?
Click the link below where you’ll be taken to a page where you can find out who your local leaders are. For this project, be sure to find out who your State Senator and Representative is. Once you’ve located their names, you can find their email and address online! If you need help, email classiccitycrime@gmail.com.
Step 2: Draft & Send Your Email
Now that you’ve located who your State Representative and State Senator is, it’s time to contact them by email or by letter (email preferred)! Use the two buttons below to download the email template and the email attachment! Be sure to get both!
Step 3: Follow Up & Share.
After a week, if you’ve gotten no email response we encourage you to call the legislators office to confirm they have received the communication. Once you make contact with the legislator by email or phone, be sure to email and let us know at classiccitycrime@gmail.com
Additionally, please be sure to share the Baker family’s petition to Governor Kemp as we continue to get more signatures until the Governor’s office agrees to a meeting!
